DIE TRÄGER DER ZEIT presents a performance in the public space of Hamburg, in which one of the DREI ZEITFIGUREN is attached to each of the performers with colour-coded straps.

On their way from Deichtorhallen to Elbphilharmonie, they continuously create connections with structures existing in urban space. The flow of movement is characterised by a reaction to inner and external impulses and an intervention in the routine flow of people passing by.

DIE TRÄGER DER ZEIT become the personified representation of the immaterial time and show its burden and omnipresence in different moods and positions. The work refers to the idea of the "Cargador del Tiempo" of the Mayan calendar.
