RETURN TO REFRESH is a site-specific installation dealing with the translation process of data. While Marta uses scientific datasets as the basis for her artistic interpretation, Darja bases the revision on her autobiographical sources.

The resulting installation is an adaptation of materials and content of earlier works, which are reviewed and modified under current site and time related conditions. Thereby, previous transformation steps within the system provide the parameters for the latest translation. The revision loops are taken up in the form of the objects and through the collage of notation levels.
