Q-KLÄNGE is a sound performance in which Florian and Darja play copper tube figures with xylophone mallets and their hands. Each sculpture is composed of interlocking rectangles connected by threaded rods. The performance is characterised by a constant dynamic - both the inner elements, the suspended constructions and the performers with them rotate in space. A contact microphone is attached to pick up and amplify the sound.
The performance constitutes a controlled improvisation in which individual, previously rehearsed subjects enter into dialogue, react to each other and develop flexibly.
