PERMUTATION represents a monumental yet delicate and semi-transparent installation, interweaving the symbolic languages of advanced civilisations in Mesoamerica and Mesopotamia with processual notations and mathematical formulas, forming a complex structure of ancient and contemporary signs and codes.
The work aims to propose a globally connective understanding of events and constitutes the third and final form of presentation of the work cycle ISOMETRY - CONGRUENCE - PERMUTATION.
The term "permutation" (lat. permutare - to exchange), originating from mathematics, describes in combinatorics an arrangement of objects in a certain order, taking up the tripartite form of the work, in which the elements are arranged and combined according to new principles.
