The Wandelzeitfigur (i ii iii iv) represents a transformed version of the Drei Zeitfiguren.
This three-part spatial sculpture, originally made in Hamburg, is sawn into small pieces and sent to Vienna. From the same round steel, with the already existing bends, four tree-like bodies are re-welded, varying in height but all built according to the same branching pattern (principle of fractal geometry).
In contrast to the determination of the course of the spatial drawing of the Drei Zeitfiguren, based on a multi-level, partly randomly generated calculation, the Wandelzeitfiguren assume an organic, ramifying form and refer to the fact that all forms of nature also follow mathematical laws.
