PARS PRO TOTO represents an accessible spatial installation exploring the principle of fractal geometry. The basis is formed by notes from artists' books, usually written on an A4 page. These proportions are defined as the initial element and taken up multiplicatively throughout the exhibition architecture.

The notations printed on plastic foils represent the entire archive of recordings from the last 7 years. The installation thus forms a work on the basis of all previous artistic works.

PARS PRO TOTO clarifies that a part also contains the information of the whole, i.e. the same structure can be found micro- and macroscopically in different dimensions. The processual exploration of patterns and codes of our environment serves to capture and order information in times of global shifts and to focus on core elements.
